“I really enjoy meeting customers and helping them create the perfect look in their home. There are some fascinating people and places in the Dales and it’s a real privilege to get out there and experience it on a daily basis”.

"When asked about my favourite interior brand that we sell, I felt inclined to say one of our flooring companies - Kersaint Cobb. I feel that it's a really innotive brand and nearly everyone likes what they offer. Even if a customer doesn't neccessarily choose them in the end, it's likely that browsing Kersaint Cobbs' samples opened up their mind to what they want." 

Leonie has spent a lot of time integrating a new Epos system and building our online shop.  She is the go to person for anything HR related as well as the buyer of all products on the Ground Floor.

In her spare time Leonie enjoys walking with Teddy, spending time with friends and singing with The Dales Community Pop Choir.

"My favourite brand from our shop is White Stuff, which is funny as I don't actually own a lot of it! But it's probably the brand I most enjoy going to buy new collections with, I guess because their collections are always so fun and make you smile."

Phoebe came to Milners in October, after completing her final year of college. She has a passion for all things digital and is often creating artwork on her iPad, creating artwork and signposting for our brands, or putting together displays for the shop floor. You'll also see her on the second floor as she will be managing the interior's side of our social media!

“My favourite brand we stock has to be Fable! Each collection features unique prints that tell a story with every piece! It's an added bonus that it fits in with my own personal style, and I'm guilty of owning atleast a piece from every drop!"

Lauren has lived around Leyburn since the age of 4 and now resides just outside of Richmond. She enjoys walking with her pooch and partner, reading and socialising with friends and family, as well of course as getting creative with Milners' marketing and displays!

"My favourite in-store brand has got to be Powder. I love the colours they use and the different unique motifs they come up with for every season - I mean what other brand thinks to draw up a hare wearing fuschia pink military regalia and print it onto a scarf?! I love it."

Sarah enjoys helping customers to choose new styles and items for their homes and tries to provide all the information that they need.

She currently lives in Richmond (North Yorkshire - not to be confused with London!) and enjoys her gardening, as well as spending time with family.

Paula moved to Leyburn from the North East in 2003, and worked in a variety of secretarial and admin roles before joining Milners in June 2021.  She enjoys walking and spending time with her family and, like Leonie, is a member of the Dales Community Pop Choir.

"I really struggled to pick a favourite brand from our ground floor as they're all so nice, but after looking in my wardrobe at home it turns out I mainly own clothes from Seasalt and White Stuff so I suppose I'll go with them!"

Making up made to measure curtains and roman blinds for our customers, she is dedicated to her work and very much a perfectionist in everything she produces. If you’re looking for great additions for your home, you won’t get a better service than from Sharon. Somehow, Sharon also manages to fit in carrying out alterations for Milners clothing customers too!

Janet enjoys reading, walking, socialising, meeting with friends, spending time with her family, and of course finds it a pleasure to assist and help with customer enquiries. 

"I love all of the brands in the shop (surprise, surprise!!) because of all the variation in colours, different styles and qualities. I like being able to mix and match the different brands' items into one complimentary outfit."

Linda has a very cute dog called Jake whom she enjoys walking all around our beautiful dales countryside. 

A keen photographer, Andrew is often responsible for a few of our mugshots and takes some incredible photographs from around the Dales, some of his work can be seen in local galleries.

Brian is responsible for fitting carpets and flooring on our behalf. He has an excellent reputation for his commitments to customers and will go above and beyond the call of duty to help and make sure the fitting process runs as smoothly as possible. There’s never a dull moment when Brian is about, he is a laugh a minute!

When Teddy is not at the shop he loves nothing more than chasing a ball and going for walkies with mum and dad (Leonie and Keith!). He also has four feline siblings at home who keep him on his toes - so his time spent at the shop is a little restbite from them, as well as an opportunity to get lots of fuss from the girls!
