The Wensleydale Heifer is well known in the area for its award-winning seafood, boutique hotel and friendly welcome. We were approached by the team to help give the restaurant a refresh with new curtains, carpet & since then, new venetian blinds too.

Our very gifted seamstress, Sharon, worked tirelessly to create the perfectly fitting curtains in the customers own fabric- Ashley Wilde’s, Affinis. The challenge came when the huge carpet arrived…no less than 15 metres long! Getting it into the Heifer was the challenge, after we failed with doors, we eventually had success with the window! A very tight squeeze, all hands-on deck, a few expletives, and it eventually fit perfectly- Matt and Brian are extremely determined!

The project looks perfectly finished, with some pieces by local artist Lucy Pittaway. We think they suit the space impeccably and hope future diners agree!
