Keith

Managing Director

Keith is responsible for the general growth, management and planning of the business, he monitors all areas of business performance and finances, concentrating specifically on Milners Interiors. Keith advises customers on any technical issues relating to their orders and to fitting. He visits all of our customers to carry out initial enquiries in their own home and will measure up for them prior to providing quotations. Keith also manages to get out and do a large part of the fitting himself, blinds, curtains, shutters, you name it, he does it!

Leonie

Director

Leonie is the buyer for Milners and has set times a year where she is out meeting company representatives and suppliers to discuss and view new stock, make purchases and discuss delivery dates. Leonie monitors and updates all records of stock, codes, costs, sales results and generally has her head buried in a pile of paperwork or getting cross eyed with the computer! Leonie, Rachael and Betty often have their heads down planning promotions and events. Leonie has a soft spot for cats, just take a look at Milners Facebook page!

Liv

Sales & Marketing Assistant

Olivia is our new sales/marketing assistant which includes helping out on the shop floor and in the office with planning future posts for our social media accounts and keeping them up to date. Olivia has recently completed an apprenticeship and has joined us for a change of career, every day she is learning new skills and how the business works. Olivia is a big animal lover and enjoys being around any animals especially cats and dogs in her own time.

Carolyn

Visual Co-Ordinator

Carolyn has a real artistic flair! Trained in art and design, she has a great eye for colour which supports her role at Milners to create the ‘Milners look’ throughout the shop. Carolyn devotes most of her time to planning and creating our fabulous window displays, as well as helping Rachael manage the Haberdashery department, filling the shop to the brim with new remnants!

Rachael

Sales Consultant

Rachael looks after womenswear, gifts, accessories and haberdashery, having a great eye for detail, Rachael loves nothing more than creating wonderful displays on our ground floor and for the shop window. Building great relationships with our customers is key and this lady relishes the chance to provide everyone with a shopping experience they can enjoy, providing assistance and advice where needed or giving customers the chance to browse our collections. Rachael keeps us up to date with deliveries, checking goods in and carrying out the necessary tasks to prepare everything for sales. When she’s in the mood for baking we know we’re in for a real treat, the Great British Bake off has got nothing on Rachael!

Sarah

Sales Consultant

Sarah and Carolyn both look after Milners interiors department. A lot of time and effort goes into looking after our customers who visit and they do a great job keeping up with their knowledge of the products so we can give our customers all the information they need. Sarah has a great eye for detail and maintains and keeps all the administration relating to orders and deliveries up to date. Crossing the t’s and dotting the I’s, Sarah follows all customer orders through to the standard our customers deserve.

Charlotte

Sales Consultant

Charlotte works within the interiors department and the haberdashery. Trained in graphic design and illustration, Charlotte has a keen eye for great designs, so knows how to help our customers pick out the perfect outfits for them. Having discovered a love of creating patterns toward the end of her degree, in her spare time Charlotte prints her pattern designs onto various pieces of homeware to sell locally and online.

Lucille

Accounts

Lucille comes into the shop twice a week and organises all accounts, invoices, payments in and out and most importantly our wages! Lucille has a really quick eye for numbers and detail! She brightens up our day when she pops in and when she’s not here she is looking after her 2 lovely boys.

Sharon

Seamstress extraordinaire!

Sharon has been seamstress to Milners for some time now and we’d be lost without her. She is one very talented lady! Making up made to measure curtains and roman blinds for our customers, she is dedicated to her work and very much a perfectionist in everything she produces. If you’re looking for great additions to add to your home, you won’t get a better service than from Sharon. Somehow, Sharon also manages to fit in carrying out alterations for Milners customers too!

Andrew

We keep Andrew busy with travelling around Wensleydale carrying out fittings. He can turn his hand to fitting any type of blind, poles and curtains! A keen photographer, Andrew is often responsible for a few of our mugshots and takes some incredible photographs from around the Dales, he even has his own website and some of his work can be seen in Dales Haven’s Gallery in Leyburn.

Brian

Brian is responsible for fitting carpets and flooring on our behalf. He has an excellent reputation for his commitments to customers and will go above and beyond the call of duty to help and make sure the fitting process runs as smoothly as possible. There’s never a dull moment when Brian is about, he is a laugh a minute!

Teddy

General Dogsbody!

Teddy is our newest (and cutest) member of staff. Teddy is Keith and Leonie’s new family pet and is a Spaniel/Labrador cross. He is already proving to be an asset to the team, accompanying Keith on fitting jobs and even trying to take the driver’s seat in the Milners van! In his spare time Teddy enjoys swimming, walks with his mates - Maloney, Bodie and Mac as well as chasing tennis balls. Teddy is always getting into mischief at home by chasing the cats, stealing shoes, the remote control and destroying the garden (much to Leonie's annoyance....grrrr).
